The Macro button helps alot it shows us things that we cant really see lik the material on a dress, or the little hairs on leaves. It zooms alot, and blurs out the backround. You would use this to take pictures of very small things that are hard to see just regularly by the human eye.
Leading Lines are used to lead up to your emphasis. You would use them to see whats beyond the picture and to make your emphasis stronger. It helps the picture 'pop' more.
The rule of thirds is like a tic-tac-toe grid. It helps you angle where you want your main emphasis to be. It pretty much helps you divide your picture into sections so that you know where to put your main detail.
